Tundra Ridgebacks has relocated from Fairbanks, Alaska to
North Bend, Oregon, which our four dogs think is a little piece of heaven.
Their newfound love is running on the beaches and in the surf. Our
dogs are mostly our companions but we do show them and occasionally do a
breeding.
Our first Rhodesian, Malikatun, came to us in 1989 and has since passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Mali was a wonderful, loving companion and will always have a special place in our hearts as the girl who won us over to loving this great breed.
Majazzi is the second girl we have had in our family. She has
her Int'l/Nat'l Championship and is 
AKC major pointed, is very strong
and athletic and a real lover. Pinkie Rose and Augie were pups
we kept from Majazzi's first litter and have been a wonderful addition
to the family. Augie has his Int'l/AM Championship, all bred-by/owner
handled and is our loyal sidekick. Pinkie Rose is our Lure Coursing
fool and will do anything to get to "chase the bunny". Liza Jane
is our fourth member and continually brings us joy with her sweetness
and antics. She also has her Int'l/AM Championship. All the
dogs will be beginning Lure Coursing and/or tracking and Rally Obedience
in the near future. Augie is available at stud to approved
bitches.
We occasionally have a litter of pups which are raised in our home with the family. We are dedicated to raising happy, healthy, family companions, striving for warmth in temperament and substantial bone in addition to meeting the breed standard. Much consideration is given to the health and genetics of both parents. Prospective homes are carefully chosen and a contract is used.
